Tims looking to spring back this April

Ian Tims will be looking to spring back from his first career defeat on a British Card this April.
The Irish Cruiserweight favourite postponed a routine arm operation to challenge Juho Haapoja for the EU title in Finland on January 21 and despite the fact a clash of heads impeded the Tanks vision ‘Timsey’ acquitted himself well in defeat.

Indeed so impressive was the Celtic Gym fighter that Sauerland Promotions contacted the Dubliners team and offered them a fight with Canadian Cruiserweight Troy Ross.

Tims wanted that clash but was advised by manager and coach Pascal Collins to get his arm sorted first and as a result declined the approach.

However, Tims is adamant big fights still lie ahead and revealed he should be out in April, possibly on a Frank Warren show.
