Frampton marches on
13 February 2010 – By Cormac Campbell
Belfast super-bantamweight prospect Carl Frampton extended his unbeaten record to 4-0 with a straightforward points victory over Frenchman Yoan Boyeaux on Friday night in London.
Frampton was given the nod by a score of 40-37 in the one sided contest in which the previously unbeaten Boyeaux (now 2-1) elected to move rather than engage with his heavy-handed opponent.
Frampton is now scheduled to return to the ring in March, and, all going well, a slot on the undercard of Paul McCloskey’s European light-welterweight title defence at the Kings Hall would appear a realistic possibility for April or May.
