The final three Irish fighters remaining at the World Youth Championships in St Petersburg all box today to guarantee bronze medals.

Starting us off at 11:30am (all times Irish time) in Ring B is Michael Nevin. The Portlaoise middleweight faces Lithuanian Vytautas Balsys. The Baltic boxer claimed silver at this year’s European Youths and will pose a huge test for Nevin, who has been in sensational form this tournament.

Immediately after this at 11:45am in Ring A is Bracken light heavy Christopher O’Reilly who faces the huge test of Kazakh Bekzad Nurdauletov.

Finally, at 4:00pm in Ring B, is Galway light welter. The Olympic BC fighter takes on Rohan Polanco Emiliano of the Dominican Republic as he looks to claim a sensational medal in his first major international tournament.

Should an Irish boxer guarantee silverware tomorrow, it will be a return to the podium following amedal-less 2014 Championships.
