Belfast was given a taste of what is to come with a fiery weigh-in today ahead of The World Is Not Enough, Frampton vs Avalos, at the Odyssey Arena tomorrow, sponsored by CWM FX,
Hundreds of fans packed Europa Hotel Ballroom creating an electric atmosphere when IBF super bantamweight champion Carl Frampton and challenger Chris Avalos faced off in front of master of ceremonies Michael Buffer.
As Frampton lent forward, Avalos reacted with a shove detonating an explosive episode that required the intervention of security to prevent an escalation.
Though order was quickly restored Frampton and Avalos were directed off the stage, leaving Buffer to conclude proceedings.
