Wlash to fight Lee Noble this Saturday night

Dee Walsh hopes victory over Lee Noble this weekend will help the fighter nicknamed ‘Waldo’ stand out from the crowd.

The novice pro takes on the English fighter on a Hennessy promoted Magna Centre, Rotherham, Show this Saturday night.

‘Wealthy Walsh’ took the fight at short notice because he believes he can cash in on Noble’s good name. Indeed Walsh stressed the fact Noble has shared the ring with world title challenger Martin Murray and touted prospect Billy Joe Saunders amongst other recognisable names made him to irresistible to turn down

The Gary Hyde managed light middleweight, who seen a fight in Russia fall through recently, is ready to fight and prepared to win.
“The fights comes at pretty short notice, but that doesn’t concern me. I am bouncing fit, on my weight and I’m ready to not only fight, but to win,” Walsh told www.irish-boxing.com.

“I was asked about taking the fight. I heard he had fought some of the best guys out there including Martin Murray and Billy Joe Saunders, so I watched 1 or 2 rounds of him on youtube and said to myself, I just can’t see how he would beat me!”

Saturday is just Walsh’s second bout and it is his second on a Hennessy Card, but he claims that is coincidence rather than contract related.

“It is just coincidence to be honest, but its a great bill to be on especially as it is on terrestrial TV and I do hope to be on Hennessey shows in the future!”
