Welterweight prospect joins Conlan on Vaughan’s training roster
Former Young Australian Fighter of the Year and Australian Prospect of The Year winner Jake Hanney has teamed up with Liverpool trainer Danny Vaughan.
Vaughan recently established an Irish connection when he added Belfast super flyweight prospect Jamie Conlan to his stable.
Now Dubliner Hanney joins a group that already includes former Stephen Ormond and Martin Lindsay foe Derry Matthews.
Hanney has moved from Oz to Marbella where he has teamed up with Declan Geraghty, Anthony Fitzgerald, Peter McDonagh, Conlan, David Maguire and Big Sexy Sean Turner.
The undefeated welterweight prospect is hoping to get in the Irish and Uk mix and will be hoping for fights in Dublin after he makes his MGM debut in Villa Park on September 12.
