Clondalkin lightweight, Stephen Ormond, looked strong today as he weighed in for his comeback fight tomorrow night alone as his opponent was delayed.

Making his return after defeat to Terry Flanagan in a world title eliminator. Ormond fights durable Pole, Jacek Wylezol, in an eight rounder at the National Stadium on the undercard of the Jamie Conlan-headlined ‘New Beginning’ card.

Ormond will be hoping to further show that he is a world-level fighter – and is aiming to stop his tough opponent early.

Doors open at the National Stadium at 6pm, first bell is at 6:45pm Tickets are available from ticketmaster.ie. ‘New Beginning: Conlan-Granados’ will also be shown live on Boxnation from 7pm.
