Weekend Round-Up: Two out of three for the Irish

Three Irish fighters were in action over the weekend, with two knockout wins and one points defeat.

On Saturday morning in Punchbowl, Sydney, Galway lightweight Gearoid Clancy lost his comeback bout against New Zealander Nort Beauchamp via a ten round points decision.

Headlining that card, and making his return to light welterweight, Darragh Foley knocked out Joebert Delos Reyes in the sixth round, exerting revenge over the Filipino who had defeated him last year.

Finally on Saturday night, Phil Sutcliffe Jr crushed Nicaraguan Geiboord Omier in the first round in Oldham.
