Weekend opponents confirmed for Spike O’Sullivan and Ray Moylette

Opponents have been confirmed for Celtic Warriors duo Spike O’Sullivan [24(16)-2(1)] and Ray Moylette [2(0)-0] for their fights on the Murphys Boxing card this weekend.

The Irish pair are in action on Saturday at the Plainridge Casino on Plainville, Massachusetts, and both have been presented with relatively soft opposition.

Cork middleweight O’Sullivan will take on inexperienced Georgia fighter Chauncey Fields [4(2)-2(1)] in a scheduled eight round contest. The Lynchburg-based boxer comes into the fight following two losses since the start of 2017, the most recent of which was a fourth round knockout.

‘GRIMM’ represents a keep-busy fight for O’Sullivan who is back in the ring less than two months after his co-headline bout at the House of Blues in March and ahead of, hopefully, a big fight in the Summer.

Moylette will face winless light welter Oscar Diaz [0-11(7)] in a four rounder.

It is very much a tool-sharpener of a fight for the Mayo star who moves to lightweight for the bout and is in action again next weekend at the Melrose Memorial Hall – ahead of a homecoming six rounder at the National Stadium on June 24th.
