WATCH: Spike O’Sullivan’s dominant stoppage of Nick Quigley

Spike O’Sullivan [26(18)-2(1)] scored a hugely impressive win in Boston last night.

The Cork middleweight stopped England’s Nick Quigley in the fourth round of their headline fight at the House of Blues which headlined a Golden Boy on ESPN card.

O’Sullivan was just too strong, and bludgeoned Quigley [15(3)-3(2)] into submission in a high-octane fire-fight.

Hurting the Liverpudlian badly in the first and the third, the referee eventually intervened at the start of the fourth with Quigley shipping far too much punishment.

One of the best performances in recent times for the Irishman, it was a high-profile win that will hopefully launch him into bigger bouts.
