WATCH: Spike O’Sullivan stops Antoine Douglas (FULL FIGHT)

Cork middleweight Spike O’Sullivan [27(19)-2(1)] scored the best win of his career last night in Montreal.

The Mahon fighter stopped American Antoine Douglas in the seventh round of their WBO Inter-Continental title fight in Canada in what was the chief support bout on the Saunders-Lemieux card at Place Bell.

Setting a high pace early, O’Sullivan began to take over after three rounds and began to break down Douglas, eventually sending him down and bringing an end to the fight in the seventh.

The co-feature on a big Golden Boy bill, the fight got the full HBO treatment, with Jim Lampley, Max Kellerman, and Roy Jones Jr commentating on the action.
