WATCH: Selby and Russell Jr discuss Frampton v Santa Cruz

With the dust settling on Carl Frampton’s brilliant WBA featherweight title-winning performance against Leo Santa Cruz, Showtime have released a short behind the scenes video.

However, rather than focusing on ‘The Jackal’ or his vanquished foe, the US cable network take a look at potential future opponents Gary Russell Jr and Lee Selby.

The pair, both 126lb World champions themselves, were ringside in New York to watch the title clash and both expressed their willingness throughout to face the Irishman.

WBC champ Russell Jr was impressed by the Jackal Army and noted at the start of the bout that “he got a lot of people here, Frampton.”

The American star, who stopped Pajo Hyland inside two rounds in April also claimed that “I’ll knock both of them out,” while IBF beltholder Selby commented that “I know Leo will fight me next, I don’t know if Frampton will.”
