WATCH: Ryan Burnett finally receives his world title
At last, just short of six weeks after defeating Lee Haskins, IBF bantamweight champ Ryan Burnett [16(9)-0] finally has the belt to go with the title.
The Belfast boxer became Ireland’s only reigning world champion on June 10th following a dominant points win over previous champ Lee Haskins.
However, the Antrim Road man would have to wait until today to get his hands on his actual belt.
On the night when he defeated Haskins, the Bristolian gave Burnett a lend of his own belt for the post-fight festivities, with the Irishman returning the strap at the end of the night.

Promoter Eddie Hearn would receive the title from the IBF at the end of last month, but Burnett only returned to London recently and would quickly pick up his brand new red belt.
