WATCH: Ray Moylette’s final six rounder

While all eyes were on Cardiff and Katie Taylor last Saturday night, the new WBA lightweight champion was not the only Irish fighter in action across the water.

Another lightweight former top amateur stepped through the ropes in Birmingham, with Mayo’s Ray Moylette having his eighth fight in eight months.

The Celtic Warriors puncher fought durable Croat Luka Leskovic in a six rounder on a Tommy Owens Promotions show at Villa Park.

His fourth and final six rounder, Moylette [8(3)-0] claimed a 60-55 points in over a game and gritty foe.
