WATCH: Peter McDonagh and Shayne Singleton clash at weigh-in
It all went off this afternoon between Peter McDonagh and Shayne Singleton at the weigh-in for their fight tomorrow.
The pair feature on the Joseph Parker v Hughie Fury WBO heavyweight title undercard tomorrow night at the Manchester Arena, and had clashed at the a heated press conference earlier in the week.
Today the pair both made weight for the 10-round light middleweight bout. McDonagh, wearing tricolour boxers and draped in a Galway flag, tipped the scales at 154lbs (11 stone), while Singleton came in slightly lighter at 153lbs (10 stone, 13lbs).
The drama then began at the face-off when three-weight Irish champ McDonagh shoved Singleton in the neck. Enraged, the recent British title challenger tried to twice charge at McDonagh, and needed to be held back.
