Patrick Hyland has the chance to become Ireland’s second ever WBC world champion and second ever featherweight champion of the World tonight, following in legends Wayne McCullough and Barry McGuigan’s footsteps respectively.

The Punisher took to the scales yesterday ahead of his Showtime main event clash with champ Gary Russell Jr.

The Tallaght fighter tipped the scales at 126 pounds and looked in good shape.

Russell Jr also came in at 126 on the button.
