WATCH: Paddy Gallagher v Gary Murray weigh-in and head-to-head
Paddy Gallagher successfully made weight this afternoon for his BBBoC Celtic welterweight title defence – but opponent Gary Murray required two attempts ahead of their clash in Edinburgh.
Glasgow’s Murray [12(0)-0] came in at 148lbs, a full one pound over the welterweight limit.
Gallagher [11(7)-3(0)] then tipped the scales bang on the mark at 147lbs exactly.
The pair then faced off in a respectful head-to-head.
Murray would make weight at the second attempt one hour later.
The title fight takes place on the big MTK Scotland show tomorrow at the Meadowbank Arena, and will feature on the BoxNation-televised portion off the bill
