WATCH: Mick Conlan sparring a 15-0 pro at The Rock Gym
Mick Conlan’s professional debut is just over a month away and the Belfast man is getting some top preparation done in California.
The Irish super bantamweight is now based out of ‘The Rock Gym’ in Carson under top trainer Manny Robles. Among his gym-mates are current world champs Oscar Valdez and Jessie Magdaleno, as well as Donegal’s Jason Quigley.
Today Conlan posted a short clip of a sparring session with undefeated Colombian super bantam Oscar Negrete [15(9)-0] and he is looking sharp.
The Falls Road favourite debuts on St Patrick’s Day at the Theater at Madison Square Garden against Tim Ibarra.
