WATCH: Mick Conlan on RTÉ quiz show ‘Know The Score’
Over the last few years, Mick Conlan has become one of the most recognisable faces in Irish sport, and the Belfast boxer was one of the first names on the list for RTÉ’s new sports quiz show, ‘Know The Score.’
Similar to ‘A Question of Sport,’ the show pits two teams of three against each other and tests their knowledge of sport.
The episode featuring Mick Conlan airs on Sunday night on RTÉ1 at 8:30pm (Irish team).
Conlan, joined jockey Ruby Walsh’s team alongside footballer Stephen Hunt, and went up against Shane Byrne’s side which featured Cork GAA player Valerie Mulcahy and snooker star Ken Doherty.
RTÉ today released a clip of the show which discussed Conlan’s Olympic loss to Vladimir Nikitin and young Finn McManus’s gift of a school sports day medal, while also giving a nod to the dubiously-judged fight in their scoring of the quiz.

Irish-Boxing.com were in the studio audience for the recording of this episode, which took place the day Conlan arrived home from signing his professional contract with Top Rank in Las Vegas, and while we’ll keep the final score under wraps, we can confirm that it is entertaining viewing.
