WATCH LIVE: Mick Conlan’s New York Press Conference

The press conference to officially announce Mick Conlan‘s professional debut will take place this afternoon at 4:00pm (Irish Time).

Conlan, who is now based at Manny Robles’s ‘The Rock Gym’ in California, has flown across the country for the conference which will take place at Madison Square Garden’s Chase Square in New York City. The Belfast super bantam will be accompanied by promoter Todd duBoef and manager Matthew Macklin.

Much of the information about the debut has already been revealed. Conlan will top the bill at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Friday March 17th in a six-round bout. The opponent, Tim Ibarra, was leaked yesterday, and ticket prices have been known for some time.

Nevertheless, their are still details to be gleaned, such as undercard support and, regardless, it will be brilliant to see the decorated amateur in such a high-profile setting.
