WATCH: Katie Taylor stops Nina Meinke in the 7th round of Wembley world title eiminator
Katie Taylor [5(3)-0] was just too much tonight for Nina Meinke.
The Bray lightweight took out the previously undefeated German inside seven rounds at Wembley Stadium on the massive Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko undercard.
Taylor was on top throughout, causing a lot of damage to the face of Meinke, and referee Howard Foster eventually stopped the fight in the seventh of ten scheduled rounds.
The WBA Inter-Continental title fight doubled as a world title eliminator and Taylor moved one step closer to a homecoming date in Dublin this November or October.
