There was no war tonight for Jamie Conlan as the Belfast fan-favourite had an easy win in Cardiff.

Fighting on the Boxnation undercard at the Ice Arena, ‘The Mexican’ took on Czech puncher Patrick Bartos and blew him away inside four minutes.

It was a routine win after two recent wars and, after a trip to Rio to support his brother Micheal in the Olympics, Conlan will be looking for a return to big time action in September.
