WATCH: James McGivern’s stylish display v Russia
Belfast teenager James McGivern impressed the boxing folk in attendance at the National Stadium on Friday night.
The St George’s slickster took on Roman Podoprigora in a test internationa, and gave his Russian opponent a boxing lesson.
Amazingly it was the first boxing McGivern had done since the European Youth Championshhips last month – and he was only informed about the fight earlier that day!
Definitely one for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
