WATCH: Frampton-Santa Cruz weigh-in and head-to-head

Carl Frampton and Leo Santa Cruz were on the scales this afternoon in New York at the Barclays Resort Casino ahead of their WBA featherweight title clash tomorrow evening.

Both weighed in under the 126lb featherweight limit in front of a loud contingent of Frampton fans. Santa Cruz even afforded himself a chuckle when he was confronted with a “who are ya” chant from the Frampton faithful.

Frampton tipped the scales at a career-high 125.25lbs while singing along to Sweet Caroline.

At 125.5lbs Santa Cruz was also at the heaviest he had ever weighed in at.

With weight made the pair faced off for the third and final time ahead of their fight tomorrow night at the Barclays Centre and while there were no fireworks, Frampton was not looking away first.
