WATCH: Carl Frampton sparring Tommy Coyle ahead of Nonito Donaire clash
Carl Frampton is deep into training camp for his showdown with Nonito Donaire.
The Belfast featherweight takes on the four-weight world champion at the SSE Odyssey Arena on Saturday April 21st, live on BT Sport and BoxNation.
The bout is 31-year-old Frampton’s second since linking up with Salford trainer Jamie Moore at the VIP Gym in Astley.
However, currently Frampton is out in Tenerife for some warm weather training alongside gym mates Conrad Cummings, Steven Ward, Tommy Coyle, Martin Murray, and Jack Catterall.
BT Sport paid a visit to the Canaries recently to film footage for their ‘No Filter Boxing’ series and took in a sparring session between Frampton and Coyle.
Hull lightweight Coyle himself is preparing for a big fight on April 21st when he takes on Commonwealth champion Sean ‘Masher’ Dodd as part of the undercard for Amir Khan’s comeback at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, live on Sky Sports.
An intense session, you can watch short clips from the spar below:
