WATCH: Carl Frampton on the pads during Trócaire charity trip to Kenya
Carl Frampton is currently having some time off following his latest win, but the Belfast featherweight is still getting in some padwork.
This week ‘The Jackal’ is in the East African nation of Kenya alongside his wife Christine as ambassadors for Trócaire’s ‘Until Love Conquers Fear’ Christmas Appeal.
Frampton is looking to raise the profile of the fund-raising campaign, which hopes to raise over €1million this Christmas.

Trócaire’s Christmas Appeal comes at a time when the region is at risk of devastating famine
The Irish charity described how “over 26 million people are facing malnutrition and the threat of famine across South Sudan, Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia due to prolonged drought. Trócaire is currently reaching over 150,000 people across the East Africa region with emergency food, water, sanitation and healthcare.”
