WATCH: Behind-the-scenes on Mick Conlan’s first day at The Rock Gym

It’s been a big week for Mick Conlan.

As well as turning 25, he has also flown over to Los Angeles to join up with new trainer Manny Robles.

The coach of World champions Jessie Magdeleno and Oscar Valdez has seemingly gelled instantly with the 2015 World Amateur champion ahead of an assault on the pros under Top Rank Promotons – starting on St Patrick’s Day in Madison Square Garden

Documentary film maker Darragh Bambrick was over in The Rock Gym with the Belfast star, shooting some behind-the-scenes footage for his upcoming feature on Conlan and his brother Jamie.

Bambrick has uploaded some of the footage, including some words from Robles, Conlan’s old and new team mate Jason Quigley, and a glimpse at some furious pad work.
