WATCH BACK: 2019 National Elite Senior Finals
The National Elite Senior Finals took place last night in what was a special night for Irish boxing.
17 champions were decided in the ring at the National Stadium in Dublin and each and every one
Six of the finals were shown live on TG4 but all 17 – and Kelly Harrington’s international fight with Jelena Jelic – were streamed via the SportTG4 YouTube.
There were plenty of great fights throughout – with some of the highlights including Adam Hession v Evan Metcalfe, Christina Desmond v Grainne Walsh, and the fantastic final between Kieran Molloy and Paddy Donovan.
Commentary was provided as Gaeilge by Seán Bán Breathnach – who saw four of his fellow Galwegians claim titles – with English co-comms and analysis from Darren O’Neill.
