Not quite bad blood but certainly not as pleasant as previous heads to heads.

WBO middleweight champion Andy Lee and Billy Joe Saunders have looked into each others eyes more often than young lovers over the past few months considering the fight was twice postponed and new press obligations emerged as a result.

For the most part those encounters have been friendly, beginning and ending with handshakes and even smiles.

However, come fight week things change. The head to head after the final press conference between the pair didn’t play host to smiles and whilst their was no bad behavior there certainly wasn’t pleasantries exchanged.
