FRANK Warren is considering rescheduling Stephen Ormond’s eagerly anticipated bout with Terry Flanagan for December.
‘The Rock’ is scheduled to defend his WBO European lightweight title in Hilton Hotel, Mayfair, London on Monday November 24.
However, speaking to IFL TV promoter Frank Warren has indicated a desire to move the clash from a charity event to a bigger show in December.
“We have a cracking fight with Flanagan and Ormond, that is a really good fight. At the moment it is meant to be on in November 24, but we think we are going to move it to December and a bigger show.”
Ormond had suggested the bout was worthy of a bigger show, but has scheduled his training around a November 24 date, so might not be too keen on a change a few weeks into his camp.
