Walker and Molloy to support McCrory in Germany

Kurt Walker [3(1)-0-] and Kieran Molloy [2(2)-0] are travelling to Germany to support Padraig McCrory’s IBO World title tilt, quite literally.

‘The Hammer’ will challenge undefeated Leon Bunn for the IBO’s light heavyweight crown in Frankfurt in just over a week’s time.

His Conlan Boxing stablemates will be in attendance cheering him on but only after they provide support in the ring.

The Belfast and Galway fighters will also fight on the Wasserman card in Germany.

Olympian Walker, who stepped up against Marcos Gabriel Martinez in August fights for the fourth time since turning over against a yet-to-be-confirmed opponent.

Molloy, who was close to bringing boxing back to Galway before McCrory got the offer to fight abroad, fights for the third time and is also awaiting opponent confirmation.

Both Top Rank fighters are expected to be confirmed on the Michael Conlan topped SSE Arena bill on December in due course.
