VOTE: Carl Frampton nominated for two PBC awards
Carl Frampton [23(14)-0] is up for two big year-end awards with Premier Boxing Champions (PBC).
The Al Haympn-backed venture have nominated Frampton for Fighter of the Year, and his clash with Leo Santa Cruz is up for Fight of the Year.
A vintage year for Frampton, he unified his IBF super bantamweight title with Scott Quigg’s WBA belt in a money-spinning match-up in February before taking America by storm in July with his aforementioned epic duel with Santa Cruz in New York.
The Belfast man’s opposition for Fighter of the Year are Keith Thurman, Robert Easter Jr, and Jermall Charlo, while the other bouts up for Fight of the Year are Thurman v Shawn Porter, Easter v Richard Commey, and Adonis Stevenson v Thomas Williams Jr.
‘The Jackal is currently in preparations for his hotly-anticipated rematch with Leo Santa Cruz in Las Vegas on January 28th.
All voters have the option to be entered into a draw for a glove signed by the eventual winner of Fighter of the Year.
