GARY O’Sullivan took a big step toward a World title with impressive victory in Boston on Saturday night.

The Cork middleweight stopped Melvin Betancourt in the second round of his clash on the undercard of James DeGale and Andre Dirrell’s IBF super middleweight World title fight.

The Celtic Warrior Gym fighter pushed his record to 21-1 and collected the WBA NABA middleweight title, a strap that should see him collect a World ranking.
