VIDEO: Niall Kennedy US knockout
Murphy’s Boxing have released footage, with commentary, of Niall Kennedy’s bout in Boston last month.
The Wexford heavyweight took on former US amateur star Willie Palms and put in an assured display, stopping his opponent inside two rounds.
Boom Boom Baz had his man down in the opener and Palms was saved by the bell at the end of the round. A knockdown from the Celtic Warriors puncher this time was counted in the second, before Palms was stopped, perhaps prematurely, on wobbly legs midway through the round.
