Marco McCullough had to opportunity to stare into Isaac Lowe’s eyes and tell him what’s what today.

The Belfast man fights Isaac Lowe for the vacant Commonwealth title tomorrow night at the Manchester Arena.

At yesterday’s undercard press conference, Morecambe’s Lowe promised to knock the Ulsterman out and heckled McCullough throughout.

At today’s weigh-in McCullough had to strip completely to make the 126lbs featherweight limit – and considerably (in boxing terms) outweighed the Englishman who tipped the scales at 124,4lbs.

During the face-to-face McCullough gave as good as he got in an animated staredown with the English youngster.

The bout acts as the penultimate fight on the undercard for the Frampton-Quigg PPV showdown and is expected yo be an evenly-matched affair
