Marco McCullough was stopped standing on the Carl Frampton v Scott Quigg PPV undercard at the weekend.

The Belfast man’s corner threw in the towel in the eight round of the clash against Isaac Lowe for the Commonwealth title at the Manchester Arena.

It was a dissapointing result for the popular Ulsterman, with trainer John Breen feeling that it was McCullough’s worst ever performance and citing problems stemming from a new water diet trialed by the featherweight.
