Niall Kennedy was in somber mood after stretching his record to three fights without defeat at the Red Cow on Friday night.

Probably the slickest of the current Irish heavyweight’s wasn’t too happy with his performance despite taking a step up in class and winning comfortably.

Speaking after the clash Kennedy said he shipped shots that if landed by bigger punchers may have caused him trouble and suggested he could have performed much better.

Kennedy also dedicated his victory to a close friend of his who fell ill during the week.
