VIDEO: Katie Taylor pro debut – Weigh in and head-to-head

Katie Taylor weighed in this afternoon in London for her first professional fight.

The Bray boxer will face Poland’s Karina Kopinska at the Wembley Arena on the ‘Big City Dreams’ card, live on Sky Sports.

Taylor, who will start off in the pros targeting super featherweight (130lbs/59kg) honours, tipped the scales at 132.4lbs, while Kopinska came in at 131.5lbs. Taylor’s weight today was near-identical to the amateur lightweight limit of 60kg/132.3lbs, but she will now have the benefit of almost a day and a half of rehydration before entering the ring tomorrow night.
