VIDEO: Hilarious ring walk from early in Scott Quigg’s career

While he is now with Matchroom, Sky Sports, and all the associated razzmatazz, it wasn’t always that way for Bury’s Scott Quigg.

After a short and unremarkable amateur career, the Englishman turned pro in 2007 and initially fought on small shows under the banner of Hatton Promotions.

Today one of Quigg’s early ring walks was brought to our attention and it had us in stitches in the Irish-Boxing.com offices.

In a low budget segment, emphasising Quigg’s Manchester roots, the super bantamweight is shown leaving his house in full ring attire and walking to the venue.

Scott seems to be a nice guy, although he did block us on Twitter, but this certainly gave us a giggle.

Our personal favourite moment is a pedestrian running out of shot at 1:25.

It will certainly all be different when he locks horns with Frampton on February 27th.

Cheers to Mark McFarlane (@MarkMcFarlane29) for alerting us to this gem.
