Dublin lightweight Jamie Kavanagh had an impressive European return at the weekend. Fighting for the first time in six months, the former Golden Boy prospect shook off the rust and blow away the cobwebs with a comprehensive points win over Reynaldo Mora.

Mora, a late substitute, was outclassed by the MGM fighter who cruised to a six round points win.

With the victory, Kavanagh improved his record to 19(9)-1(1)-1 and will now begin his assault on titles and a potential Dublin showdown with Stephen Ormond
