Courtney Fry was in jovial mood and happy to be in Belfast at the weigh in ahead for his Feile Fight Night bill topper with Tommy McCarthy.
However, when it comes to the main event fight the experienced cruiserweight was in defiant mood.
The 40 year old, who fights out of Liverpool, knows he would prove a valuable name on British title hopeful McCarthy’s record, but claims he still holds title aspirations of his own.
The former British and Commonwealth title challenger is aware young fighters see him as a possible scalp, but remains confident he can inflict a first career win on McCarthy at the Falls Park tomorrow.
