VIDEO: Dean Byrne winds opponent up at weigh-in

Dean Byrne certainly knows how to get under people’s skin.

The Crumlin welterweight had Peter McDonagh riled before their Irish title fight last November, and today the former Wild Card star had youngster Jamie Robinson [6(2)-3(0)-1] hot and bothered.

The two were weighing in ahead of their fight on the undercard of Kell Brook’s IBF welterweight title defence against Kevin Bizier at the Sheffield Arena.

‘Irish Lightning’ Byrne was his trademark smack-talking self throughout the stare-down, taking aim at his opponent’s hair.

‘The Ginger Rocket’ wasn’t impressed, but the flame-haired fighter contained himself when Byrne had a feel of his locks.
