DARREN Cruise took a risk stepping up to light heavyweight to take a last minute fight with a English prospect in London.

The Mark Dunlop managed pro failed to get the win over Tom Baker, but was keen to take positives from the fight and occasion.

Cruise was happy he went past four rounds for the first time in career and points out the 10 rounder now qualifies him for an Irish title shot, which he would like at super middle or middleweight.
