VIDEO: Carl Frampton foe Avalos in action against Romero
CARL Frampton makes the first defence of IBF super bantamweight title against Chris Avalos in Belfast on February 28.
The Californian mandatory challenger has cut a confident figure in the pre fight build up, stating claiming he has sparred better than current super bantamweight world champ.
However, Frampton points to the fact Avalos has failed when he has stepped up in level as proof he will stop the ‘mouthy yank’. Indeed he pointed out that whilst he beat Kiko Martinez, a fighter Frampton beat twice, walked through Jhonathan Romero, Avolas lost on points to the Colombian.
