VIDEO: Byrne and McDonagh pulled apart at explosive head-to-head

There has been plenty of smack talk in the lead up to their Irish Welterweight title fight and that spilled over as Dean Byrne and  Peter McDonagh weighed in today.

The two title hopefuls had to be pulled apart after they tipped the scales in front of a large assembled crowd at the National Stadium.

Dubliner Dean Byrne launched a volley abuse at his Galway rival who weighed in in tri-coloured attire in response to Byrne’s ‘Plastice’ Paddy’ jibes.

The pair then came head to head requiring the intervention of BUI chief Mel Christle before calm was restored.
