Upset specialist provides Cummings with a chance to show how exciting he is says McGuigan

AGAINST the odds fighter Robert Talerek is the perfect foe for Cyclone Promotions middleweight Conrad Cummings claims Barry McGuigan.

Talarek was last seen derailing the career of the previously undefeated London-based German Arthur Hermann in Camden last month. Big-punching Hermann, 11(10) – 1, could not handle the Polish man’s pace and was outworked over the eight round contest.

Talarek was also responsible for stopping the rise of Germany’s Denis Krieger, 10(7) – 1 – 1, in December of last year when the Pole was robbed of victory by some dubious home scoring and had to settle for a draw.

Talarek represents a step up for the pro novice, but ‘Dynamtie’ looked explosive against experienced operator Lajos Munkacsi last time out and Irish boxing legend McGuigan explains he the Tyrone puncher has improved further in the gym over the last few months.

Indeed Cyclone Promotion’s CEO is backing the Shane McGuigan trained middleweight to show just how exciting he can be on the massive Titanic Showdown card next week.

Cyclone Promotions’ CEO Barry McGuigan is impressed with the improvements of Cummings during his first year as a professional,

“This is the kind of test that Conrad needs at this stage of his development as a young professional. Talarek has a tendency of upsetting the odds against prospects so Conrad will have to be on top of his game, but having seen his progression in the gym over the past few months I know this is a contest that will showcase just how exciting a talent Conrad Cummings really is.”
