UPDATED MEDAL RECORD – Team Ireland’s World Youth Championship History
The Class of 2024 made history in Budva.
The eight-strong team didn’t manage to break the five-medal haul of the 2022 campaigners but did win more gold than any of the previous World Youth Championships teams.
The three medals won were all gold with Soifra Lawless, Kyla Doyle and Adam Olaniyan all finished top of the podium.
Ireland’s record at the tournament now stands at 31 medals. Among the names to make it the podium are Eammon Loughran, Neil ‘Sinky’ Sinclair, Eamonn Magee, Collie Barrett, Andy Lee, Ray Moylette, Tommy McCarthy, Joe Ward, Ryan Burnett, Michaela Walsh and Christina Desmond.
