Undercard details for Mick Conlan’s second pro fight
Mick Conlan [1(1)-0] headlines the show once again this Friday in his second pro outing.
The Belfast super bantamweight bill-topper is in action at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, live on UniMas and BoxNation, where he will take on Mexican Alfredo Chanez over six rounds.
The undercard for the fight night has now been confirmed, and eight fighters will offer support to the Irish Olympic hero.
As had been previously confirmed, former world title challenger Mike Alvarado [36(24)-4(3)] and rising star Alex Saucedo [24(15)-0] will figure on the bill in ten and six round contests respectively.
Saucedo featured on Conlan’s debut card in New York on St Patrick’s Day, putting on perhaps the most impressive performance of the night
Across the rest of the bill, the most notable name is perhaps 2011 World Championships bronze medalist Egidijus Kavaliauskas [16(13)-0]. The Robert Garcia-trained Lithuanian welter is in action over eight against Noel Echevarria.
The remainder of the cosmopolitan card is comprised of Chinese light heavy Peng Qu [11(7)-1(0)-1], 18 year old super featherweight Joseph Adorno [3(3)-0], light welter Kevin Ceja Ventura [5(4)-0], Mexican light welter Ramiro Carrillo [11(7)-0], and local welterweight Genaro Mendez [11(6)-3(0)-1].
