Undefeated English next for Dublin prospect Pierce O’Leary
Pierce O’Leary [4(1)-0] faces his first real test and can begin to open more noteworthy doors when he fights after lockdown.
The Dublin prospect moves away from journeymen opposition as early as his fifth fight as he takes on a fellow early doors hopeful next month.
The young Inner City talent fights Harry Limburn [6-0] behind closed doors at the LS-LIVE in Wakefield on Tuesday August 11.
Little is know of Limburn and what type of threat he posses, but he comes with a better record than any fighter ‘Big Bang’ has shared the ring with to date.
The English 23-year-old has also done his job to date winning six times against similar level opponent to O’Leary.
Limburn will also be the first fighter O’Leary faces who is coming confident of victory, and while that may provide the big puncher with more chance to land a knockout blow, it will be something different.
The active Dockland’s graduate only debuted in October of 2019, but had predicted a big 2020 and this is just the kind of fight he would appreciate.
Speaking to Irish-boxing.com last year he predicted a breakthrough 2020.
“For now it’s all experience for me. I am travelling around the UK meeting new fighters and coaches. It’s all experience for me.
“2020 keep your eyes open for me. One more after this and then watch out in 2020.”
