Ulster Elite Senior Championships Finals – RUNNING ORDER
Boxing returns to the Ulster Hall tonight for the finals night of the biggest Ulster Elite Senior Championships in years.
Nine finals and three special contests will take place at the atmospheric venue tonight, with results factoring into the selection process for next year’s Northern Ireland team for the Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Boxing began last week at the Dockers Club, with two nights of preliminaries, and tonight we return to the spiritual home of Belfast fighting.
Seven champions have already been decided by virtue of walkover – Ricky Nesbitt, Conor Wallace, Joe Joyce, Michaela Walsh, Alanna Nihell, Sarah Close, and Caroline Connolly
First bell tonight is at 8:00pm sharp, with each fight and subsequent presentation taking around 15mins, meaning we are in for about three hours of non-stop action.
